The Cascade Township Board meets the first Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 5500 25th Ave NW, Rochester, MN 55901.

The Planning Commission meets as needed on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

 

 

 

NOTICE

TOWNSHIP ELECTIONS will be held on March 9, 2010, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 5500 25th Ave. N.W., Rochester.   One Township Supervisor position and One Clerk/Treasurer is to be elected this night. Write-in votes are permissible. 

At 8:15 p.m. the Annual Township Meeting will take place at the same location.

The 2011 Town Budget will be presented at the annual meeting. For the Annual Meeting agenda, please go to the Annual Meeting link under the Township page.

Don’t know where the meeting site is?  The Calvary Evangelical Church is on 55th Street N.W. about a quarter mile east of McDonalds on the north side of the road.  It is the only church on the north side.  This is also the place where you came to vote in the national elections.

Burning permits are $5.00 and are good for 30 days.

BUILDING PERMITS

For building permits, variances, zoning change, Cascade Township residents need to contact T.C.P.A. (Township Cooperative Planning Association). See TCPA under Cascade links.

CASCADE DOG LICENSE

The Town of Cascade requires that all dogs shall be licensed and registered if over 6 months of age.  An annual Cascade license fee of $5.00 for 1 year or $10.00 for 2 years can be obtained from Cascade Township official licensing center at Northern Valley Animal Clinic, 1303 Alberta Drive, Rochester (282-0867).  NOTE: Please make sure the license obtained is a Cascade Township dog license and not a City of Rochester dog license. The dog owner must show a certificate from a qualified veterinarian showing that the dog to be licensed has been given a vaccination against rabies and is current.  For more detailed information about the Dog Ordinance, please refer to the Ordinance section of this website
